Although she might not seem like it, mako has become quite adventurous during her and after her highschool days, and a sorority like delta tau chi seems perfect for that, not to mention her good friend, in wich she used to call "onee-chan" Is the leader of the sorority
Personality: Cheerful and outgoing, mako is quite a friendly person who enjoys making friends and keeping them, although she isn't quite the "life of the party" since shes actually quite strict in that case, as she dislikes things getting out of hand.
Mako is a little bit of an idiot, getting lower than average grades in most subjects, exept english and music, her english skills have always been rather good, due to being drilled on it by her father before she moved out of japan.
She tends to get a bit clingy when she likes someone a lot, and is a bit of a clutz, as she tends to fall over a lot.
Whenever something she loves is concerned, she tends to obsess a little bit.
Shes also a liittllee bit of a scaredy cat.

Seichiro Kotone
Makoto's father, she doesn't have the best relationship with him, and hes often done a lot to get on mako's nerves, and between forced marriage interviews, forced superstudy sessions, groundings, and daily lectures, she doesn't consider her father as the best person, although she does have a lot of respect for him.
Manaka Kotone
Makoto's mother, she has quite a good relationship with her, makoto is the most like manaka, in looks and in personality so they get along well.
She's extremely lovey dovey with makoto's father, even after 30 years of marriage.
Yuka Kotone
Makoto's older sister, she tends to be quite boisterous and always gets on mako's case, she has been travelling the world for quite a few years,never deciding on where to stop, and she is currently attending various sporting competitions wherever she is currently parked.
shes also a former delinquent.
Yuuta Kotone
Makoto's younger brother, currently attending university back in japan.
Yuuta is a quiet young man, who doesn't open up to anyone but his family, he looks a lot like their father did when he was young, and due to his high academic prowess he basically breezes through all his classes, he also tends to have a bit of a sister complex towards his sisters, and treats any women that arent related, rather badly... Hes not that kind to men either.
Kyouta Kotone
Makoto's youngest brother, currently in his toddler stages, his personality is still developing but he is rather quiet and enjoys playing with his toys.

History:
Makoto grew up in a well-bred family, with her lovey dovey parents and an older sister, when she was about two years old, her family welcomed a new little brother and she was ecstatic, her family was growing.
When she was about 4, her father started teaching her to play violin, but just the basics, since seichiro wasn't quite a music wiz.
After about 2 years of learning and practicing her father sent her off to a professional teacher, and she started learning more about her instrument. At about eight years old she started entering contests, and playing fairly high in them, after all, she was completely bonded with her instrument, and she loved every minute she spent playing it.

After winning competions for about four years, she was told she could have her own concert, in a hall that could fit about five hundred people, makoto was ecstatic and worried at the same time, but her father urged her to go on, after all, she was his little "violin prodigy" and according to him, had a brighter future than her sister, who took to being a delinquent and focusing entirely on sports and traveling.
Eventually the time came for the concert and makoto was extremely excited, however, while she was preparing in her dressing room, she fell over, causing a heavy object to roll off where it was perched, and crush her violin! How horrible! She quickly ran out to find her father, because hopefully he'd be able to deal with it, but due to it being her first time in this particular hall, she got lost and ended up on stage, in front of about five hundred waiting people, how embarrassing!! Not only did she embarrass herself this way, she also stumbled right as she ran out, and hit her head on a wall, causing her to pass out, and wake up in a hospital.

After hearing what happened again through her mother, she was horrified, not only did she disappoint five hundred people, she also embarrassed herself in front of all of them!
Afterwords she refused to enter any more contests, her confidence had been completely crushed and her father, trying to urge her to enter more, even got a custom violin made especially for her, but she still refused, she refused to play in front of anyone.
Over the next year and a half her relationship declined with her father, to the point of her father basically ignoring her and moving on to encouraging Yuuta, who was actually doing well in his grades. Makoto was sad, but not surprised, after all her father saw her as a tool to get more prestige for their family, so makoto just dealt with it.

When Makoto was fifteen turning sixteen she enrolled in a place called Kingswood Academy, where she met many new friends, and even played for and with a couple of people, she was having a great life there and couldn't be any happier,even with a certain yandere student council president being after her life a couple of times, oh yeah, and she even brought a friend home in the holidays to meet her family.
However, awhile before Kingswood Academy shut down, she was pulled out of school by her father, who didn't quite say the reason why.
After that she was homeschooled by various tutors and even attended marriage meetings her father set up, of course they never went the way he planned, and her grades only got slightly better.
She eventually started entering small time competions, with only a few competitors, and only about fifty people watching, it wasn't much, but her confidence only came back a little through her time at Kingswood.

Makoto eventually grew into a nineteen turning twenty year old independent woman, and she heard that there was a university in England that a lot of her friends from kingswood were attending, so she moved there, despite the dismay of her father and brother, she was an adult after all, she could make her own decisions. Thus, she was enrolled, and ready to start life in university.

Additional Information:
-Makoto wants to be teach people about music, so she entered the education pre-professional program.
-Makoto still doesn't know how to cook, so she wants to learn in order to live on her own.
-She can be dense about a lot of things.
-Mako is fluent in both English and Japanese.
